Overview of Your Tour

Speed into the Past

Once we’ve collected you from your hotel, we’ll make a short transfer to the pier and embark on a professional speed boat for an exhilarating journey upriver from Ho Chi Minh to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Take in the spectacular views along the way as you pass lush green fields and small towns off the beaten track! Sit back, relax and enjoy the views as you are served delicious sandwiches, pastries, fruit, and coffee.

Upon arrival at the Cu Chi Tunnels, a video will demonstrate the incredible fortitude of the people who built this amazing tunnel network. Your English-speaking guide will show you around the area, explaining the history of the network of Vietnamese tunnels and underground bunkers that were used as kitchens, communal rooms, hospitals, and more. The Cu Chi Tunnels tell an incredible story of formidable resistance and serve as a stark reminder of the challenges of war. On this tour, you will have a true history lesson, and one that we believe should be included in any visit to Vietnam. You can even have a go at crawling through an original part of the tunnel that has been excavated to allow for our larger ‘Western’ bodies if you wish.

After your visit to the tunnels, we’ll enjoy a lunch of traditional fried spring rolls and other Vietnamese dishes in a lovely setting by the river. Once your hunger and curiosity are both completely satisfied, we will return you to your hotel.
