Overview of Your Tour

Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office & Reunification Palace

After picking you up from your downtown hotel, we’ll begin by touring the tree-lined boulevards of Ho Chi Minh and learning about the history behind the city’s major landmarks. With the help of your local, knowledgeable guide, you’ll discover French colonial landmarks, such as the stunning Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office and Reunification Palace.

War Museum & Medicine Museum

Next, we’ll go back in time with a visit to one of the most popular museums in Vietnam: the War Museum. This museum serves as both a stark reminder of the brutality of war as well as a poignant insight into the suffering and endurance of a nation. Warning: some exhibits may be disturbing.

We’ll then travel to the Medicine Museum, where we’ll learn about traditional Vietnamese medicine and the influence it has had worldwide. Vietnam’s traditional medicine museum offers a fascinating look at ancient medicine tools and is home to more than 3,000 exhibits dating from the Stone Age to the present.

Ben Thanh Markets

Our final stop is the popular shopping spot of Ben Thanh Markets, bursting with traditional food stalls, local handicrafts, and Vietnamese art and souvenirs. You are welcome to leave your local guide here to continue shopping and exploring on your own or be dropped back to your hotel.
